Every door we build is solid 3/4-inch PVC — because it's the only material that doesn't rot, rust, warp, or need paint. Measured to your opening, built for your opening, installed sealed on a rebuilt pressure-treated frame.
The material
Why 3/4-inch PVC?
Walk around any Charlotte neighborhood and look at the crawl space doors. The plywood ones are rotting from the bottom — plywood always does when it sits near dirt. The metal ones are rusting at the hinges and corners. And the painted ones need paint again.
PVC doesn't absorb water, so it can't rot. It's not metal, so it can't rust. At 3/4-inch solid thickness, it doesn't flex or warp the way thin panels and homemade doors do. And the color goes all the way through, so there's nothing to peel.
It's also insulated — rated at least R-5 — and it seals tight against the opening. Air under your house doesn't stay under your house.

Why every door we build is white.
One material, one thickness, one color — because white is the one color that belongs on every house. It reads as trim, whether the house is brick, stone, vinyl, or painted board. And because the color goes all the way through the PVC, it stays white.
What about...
We love pressure-treated lumber — we use it to rebuild the frame on every install. But a door slab has to stay flat, stay square, and seal for decades. Wood near Carolina soil swells, warps, and stops sealing. Wood for the bones, PVC for the door.
They're real products — if your opening is standard, square, and you're comfortable installing yourself. Measurement is where those orders go wrong. We measure, build, install, and own the 15-year warranty.
